Morning PowerBowl Smoothie
Here’s a great way to increase your nutrient intake, with lots of colourful fruits to provide antioxidants and healthy fats from nuts and seeds.
1.⁄3 cup hulled strawberries
1.⁄3 cup blackberries
1.⁄3 cup raspberries
1 banana, peeled
2⁄3 cup hemp milk
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon ground almonds (almond meal)
1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
2 teaspoons chia seeds
1 small mango, peeled, pitted and chopped
1 tablespoon chopped walnuts
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
1. Put the strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, half the banana, the hemp milk, coconut oil, and ground almonds into a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Pour into a bowl and place the remaining ingredients on top to serve.
