Celebrate Banana Day with this healthy and delicious smoothie recipe.

 Vanilla, Almond & Banana Smoothie

This almond-based smoothie is sweetened only with dates, but it tastes as sweet and delicious as the best milk shake you ever had – it is also packed with protein!

Serves: 2

Prep Time: 5 mins

Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

1 cup almond milk

¼ cup almond butter

1 banana

4 pitted dates

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

8–10 ice cubes

1. Put all of the ingredients into a blender and blend on high speed until smooth.

2. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
