In this Privacy Policy "Personal Information" means any information about an individual that may be used alone or in conjunction with other information to identify an individual.  If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not provide us with Personal Information or otherwise participate in Parragon's online activities and do not post unsolicited information to the Site. Your continued participation on this Site indicates your acceptance of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use Agreement of which it is a part (see our Terms of Use Agreement). This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected online by Parragon and does not cover any such information collected by any other person or entity any of Parragon’s corporate parent(s), affiliates, joint ventures or any other company or party, or any such information collected in connection with co-promotions between Parragon and a third party, unless specifically stated.

2. OPT-IN/OPT-OUT OPTIONS
By registering with us you agree to receive promotional e-mail from us. You can opt out of receiving promotional e-mail at any time by clicking the relevant link in any promotional e-mail you receive from us.

6. NO PRIVACY OBLIGATIONS RELATING TO INFORMATION POSTED TO PUBLIC AREAS, UNSOLICITED INFORMATION AND USER CONTENT
Parragon has no privacy obligations for any unsolicited information you provide to us through this Site or through any other means including, but not limited to, information posted to any public areas of the Site such as bulletin boards, forums, blogs, user profiles, social media or other public areas, any ideas for new books or other products or modifications to existing services, and other unsolicited submissions (collectively, "Unsolicited Information"), including any user generated content. 9. ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION
For users in the UK the following term applies: You can find out if we hold any Personal Information about you by making a ‘subject access request’ under the Data Protection Act 1998. If we do hold any Personal Information about you we will: (a) describe it to you; (b) explain to you why we hold it; (c) identify who it may be disclosed to; and (d) let you have a copy in a form that is intelligible to you. 10. GOVERNED BY U.S AND NEW YORK LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Site is operated in the United States and is governed by, and operated in accordance with, the laws of the United States or the State of New York as applicable, without giving effect to their principles of conflicts of law. By using this Site and/or providing us with your Personal Information, you waive any claims that may arise under the laws of other countries or territories located outside of the United States or states other than New York, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of New York and the federal courts of the Southern District, located in New York County, NY.
